  • Freezer/Mill used in Forensic Analysis of Arbeia Skeletons

    Researchers at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom undertook the task of DNA analysis of the South Shields skeletons found in the courtyard house at Arbeia. They used the Freezer/Mill to help them with the analysis. They creates a video where Dr. Eleanor Graham talks about DNA analysis that is taking place.

  • SPEX SamplePrep Goes Green with Solar Panels

    SPEX SamplePrep, has installed solar panels on the roof of our Metuchen, NJ headquarters. The panels create a 35 kW Solar System to help to reduce the pollutants in our air by decreasing the amount of carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide or mercury released into the atmosphere. This newest green initiative is actively contributing to the decrease of harmful greenhouse gas emissions.
