The 6875® Freezer/Mill is a large cryogenic grinder that accomodates samples from 0.1 to 100 grams. It has one dual purpose chamber that precools and grinds samples and can hold one large grinding vial, one mid-sized vial, four small grinding vials, or four microvial sets. Sample vial maintains cryogenic temperatures due to continuous immersion in liquid nitrogen. Heat sensitive metabolites, isomers and complex molecules retain their composition as they are not degraded by heat or pressure. Grinding vial sets are offered in a variety of materials including polycarbonate, stainless steel, and low-chrome steel. Optional auto-fill system is available to automatically fill the bath with liquid nitrogen.
